Watts envest has offices in the UK, Germany, France and Sweden,
each led by a Project Director with at least ten years' experience in the environmental
due diligence and consultancy sector. Teams comprise qualified and skilled
environmental consultants, each with a strong background in the provision of
environmental due diligence and contaminated land assessment. Team members
have been individually selected from a range of multi-disciplinary environmental
consultancy backgrounds.

Stephan Herlitzius Dipl. Geol.
Director, Germany
Stephan Herlitzius joined Watts envest to head up the Düsseldorf
office in January 2007. He has more than 18 years of experience working on
national and multinational environmental projects for industrial and public
sector clients. He has comprehensive experience in the risk assessment of
contaminated land and the resulting liabilities for M&E projects. Furthermore,
he has held the Project Manager position on a considerable number of multinational
environmental due diligence assignments, ranging from office buildings to
production facilities and public utilities for both European and US multinationals
and equity investors.
Anette Czediwoda Dipl. Chem.
Associate, Germany
Dr Anette Czediwoda joined the Düsseldorf office in January
2007. Anette has an MSc in chemistry and her PhD thesis concentrated on industrial
chemistry and soil remediation. She has comprehensive experience in project
management, risk assessment and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater.
Since 2001 Anette has worked on environmental due diligence assessment studies
for a variety of real estate assets as well as different types of industrial
facilities.
Toby Andrews BSc (Hons)
Associate , UK
Toby joined the Watts envest London office in January 2007 from a local
government background. He has extensive knowledge of contaminated land risk
assessment, having previously led many investigations and remediation works
on sites as diverse as landfills, gas works, power stations and tanneries.
He currently advises clients in all matters concerning environmental due diligence.
His detailed local government experience enables him to provide an in-depth
understanding and interpretation of planning, building control and contaminated
land legislation.
Gareth Davies BSc (Hons) MSc
Associate, UK
Gareth joined the Watts envest Birmingham office in May 2007. With more than seven years consultancy experience, Gareth has a history of involvement in the design, implementation and supervision of contaminated land and hazardous materials investigations, carried out for both public and private sector organisations.
Gareth has managed site investigation teams involved in a variety
of projects, including petrol stations and gas works. He also has experience
in the design, supervision and project management of remediation schemes, including
development monitoring and validation works.
Bertrand Comte MSc
Principal Environmental Consultant, France

Bertrand joined Watts envest from a consultancy background in August 2007 to set
up the Paris office. He has several years experience working in Quebec , managing
phase 1 and phase II site investigations as well as supervising remediation
works in the property, energy and railway industries. He also gained experience
in the risk-based approach to brownfield sites during his time in London ,
undertaking Quantitative Risk Assessments for the 2012 Olympic sites in East
London .
